Lady of Leisure
Yes, I am taking another vacation from blogging. I expect to be back to a normal blogging schedule in a couple of weeks.
But wait! First I have another color test for you: Can you match the color to its Crayola name? (mental_floss Blog)
I scored 7/9. After the fold, I’ll tell you which ones I got wrong. Anyone who clicks through before taking the test for themselves …
….will be hung from the clothesline by the toes.
I mixed up Jazzberry Jam and Cerise. How did you do?

Have a good break away! You will be missed!
I did the same mix up. Somehow, I think we must be right (down deep).
How did I do? Lousy. I don't even remember having those colors in my Crayon set. I probably did, but just wasn't imaginative enough to notice or use them. :-(
I got them all right!
Being a retired Kindergarten teacher really pays off.
I did lousy in the quiz as well. I guess I never bothered to read the names of the crayon I was using! As a daily reader you will be missed but hope the time away will provide times of rest and reflection as well as unhurridly enjoying the company of friends and loved ones. Look forward to your return. In the meantime I've picked up the book "Always Ready" on your recommendation and will be taking it with me on a weeks trip to SoCA.

Yep. Big time benefit, that one. :)
I still think the crayola colour people don't know their cerises from their jazzberries.

I hope you enjoy it!
I got cerulean and cornflower mixed up.
Call me Crayola inept. When I used them, the colors were called red, yellow, blue, etc.
I got only 4 correct. I know, embarrassing.
Hope you're having a fabulous time. Somehow I missed this post and have been wondering about you. Glad you're partying!
Okay, call me chicken but I didn't even try. I knew from the outset I'd be a loser. I figured cornflower to be a blue, but beyond that? Hopeless. What can I say? I'm raising boys who'd much rather crush the crayon than ponder the poetry of its name...
Yup I only got 3 right. Red, blue, purple etc make more sense to me.
3 out of 9. About what I expected.
I got four out of nine and to be honest I really did not know any of them, you got "IT" I guest them all so does that count for extras points? :)
Peace
