Thankful Thursday

I’m thankful

  • for an afternoon with my youngest daughter.
  • that my cupboards and fridge are full.
  • for supper in the oven.
  • for sunny skies and warm temperatures.
  • that God provides me with what I need, day in and day out.
  • for all the benefits of salvation.
  • that God who began a good work will complete it.

What about you? What are you thankful for?

for a comfortable bed, and a weekly breaking of bread service that is always a sweet reminder of the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world, and for every other good gift which comes down from above.

Rebecca,

Among the many things I am thankful for, I am thankful for you. I am working through my teacher's/self-study edition of my Knowing God study materials and I just read my writings from my old bloggings on Chapter 16: The Goodness and Severity of God. You did that study with me back in 2005 and responded that the title of that chapter comes from one of your favorite scriptures (Romans 11:22).

I am glad to see you are still "Keeping on keeping on" and your faithfulness continues. You are truly a blessing and a crown of God's glorious agape expressed as a faithful servant. May God ever bless you and keep you, may his grace always rain down upon you.

Bill, checking in from beyond the rim...
