Round the Sphere Again: People You Should Know

Thomas Cramner
Kim (The Upward Call) shares an account of his martyrdom.

Lady Jane Grey
A little church history for children: Simonetta Carr has a new release in her series of biographies for young readers. This one’s the story of Lady Jane Grey, who was, says Carl Trueman “the ill-fated pawn in the desperate and highly dubious Protestant plot to divert the English succession from Edward VI’s Catholic sister Mary after the young king’s death” (Reformation21 Blog).

Here’s a little preview:

Adoniram Judson
It’s been 200 years since Judson left America to serve as a missionary in Burma. Steve Weaver has a short biographical sketch and a list of resources on his life (Credo Magazine).

In addition, John Piper’s biographical message on Adoniram Judson is available free as a short e-book (Desiring God Blog).

I think I'd like to get the book about Jane Grey for myself! I love her story.
