Thanksgiving 29

I’m thankful that “God, who said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness,’ has shone in [my heart] to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. (2 Corinthians 4:6)” I’m thankful that one day I will see Jesus face to face. And then? “…[S]o shall [I] always be with the Lord. (1 Thessalonians 4:17)”

I’m thankful for the hope God gives.

I’m thankful for my kids. They are good company and good help. Oldest daughter is coming home for a short visit in just a little over a week, and I’m thankful for that, too.

I’m thankful for blue skies and sunshine and warmish winter weather. When the days get short, it’s true gift to have sunlight rather than clouds.
