Thanksgiving 18
I’m thankful for snow. We have enough now that it’s good for something, and it does make my world beautiful.
This afternoon both daughter and son went skiing for the first time this year. Son took the dogs with him and they all came home tired and happy and glad that winter is here.
What are you thankful for today?
- Elle is thankful for prayer.
- Connie is thankful for “a sweet new Russian language tutor.”
- Kim is thankful for a warm bed.
- Ann is thankful for communication systems.
- Lisa is thankful for another year with her husband.
- Dorothy is thankful for her sweet old dog and his patient veterinarian.
- Jodi is thankful for lots of good things.
- Becky is thankful “for the way God’s Word stands guard over our hearts.”
- Kim is thankful for exegesis.
- Rachel is thankful for the gift of reading.
- Lisa is thankful for her volunteer work at a pregnancy center.
- Rosemary is thankful for jigsaw puzzles.
- Suzanne is thankful for online shopping and UPS delivery.
- Update: Ian is thankful for no snow in Winnipeg. “I can still commute to work on my bike and the extra time out in the air enables me to pray more and think on things that give me life.”
Here are three ways you can join in the thanksgiving.
- Mention something you’re thankful for in the comments here and I’ll included it in one of my thanksgiving posts, or
- Email me to tell me what you’re thankful for and I’ll include it in a post, or
- Post your thankful thought(s) on your own blog, send me the link(s), and I’ll link to your post(s). If you plan to make your thanksgiving posts daily during the month, let me know that and you won’t need to send me daily links.
If you’ve got a thanksgiving post and I missed it, please let me know so I can add your link.

No snow is good, too. :)
