November of Thanksgiving 28
We had yummy baked salmon for supper tonight. I’m a big fish fan and I especially love salmon. I’m very thankful that God made fish for us to catch and eat.
I’m thankful for all the different foods God provides for us, and that we have easy access to such a variety of meat, vegies and fruit. (While I’m thinking of it, I’m thankful that I can buy fresh lemons to go with my salmon.) My fridge is full of tasty things and I thank God, who supplies the food we eat.
Others thanking God today:
- Diane is thankful for the privilege of observing the Lord’s Day.
- Becky is thankful for a beautiful Christmas tree and more.
- Kim (The Upward Call) is thankful for Handel’s Messiah and safe roads.
- Lisa is thankful that it’s the first Sunday of advent.
- Persis is thankful for a reminder in today’s sermon.
- Rosemary is thankful “that because Jesus came, we can abound in hope in Him!”
- Victoria is thankful “that God has freed my heart(for the most part anyway) from the materialism and consumerism that drives most Americans.”
- Kim (Hiraeth) is thankful for a whole list of things.
- Aadel is thankful for a reminder.
- Trisha is thankful for the gift of meditating on Scripture together as a family.
- Joan is thankful for rest.
- Dorothy is thankful for sunshine and warmth.
